Chapters Hotel and Restaurant in
Stokesley is celebrating after being named ‘Restaurant
of the Year’ at two different award ceremonies in as
many weeks.At the Flavours of Hambleton awards, held at
Thirsk Races, Chapters won the Restaurant of The Year
award and then at the North Yorkshire Coast & Moors
Tourism Awards, Chapters picked up the accolade of
Restaurant of the Year for Special Occasions.....
The judging for each title was done during a ‘mystery
shopper’ visit to the hotel. Each restaurant was scored
on the quality of the food served, the level of service
received and the overall surroundings.
The restaurant is run by husband and wife team, Victor
and Victoria Vassallo.
Steven Bell, owner of Chapters Hotel and Restaurant,
said: “I am thrilled that Chapters has been acknowledged
in the Flavors of Hambleton Awards. As a restaurant, we
pride ourselves on using local produce and serving
regional dishes. That continued hard work of my team has
really paid off.”
